You were a good year. One of the most fun, joyful and life changing years of my life. Thanks for everything; everything that’s happened and everything that’s shaped me into who I’ve become now. Thanks for all the fun times you’ve given me and thanks for all the hardships that I’ve had to face.
I’ve changed into a different person, a person who’s grown from everything that was thrown to me, things that I would have never thought that I’d encounter. A person who’s more mature and not so naive anymore, a person who’s more aware and cautious of everything around them, a person who’s gained friends and lost friends, a person who’s been hurt and in the process of mending, a person who’s found her real friends.
A person who’s truly realised that amongst everything that happens, the people you lose that you thought would be there forever, the ones you’d never lose and the ones that’d stick with you forever are your family. They’ll be there for you always. They’ll be with you through it all, through the good times and the bad times. You can count on them to forever stick by your side. They’re top priority.
Goodbye 2011. Thanks for everything you’ve given me throughout the year, in which has taught me a lot of things. Thanks for giving me a peek at what it’s like in the real world out there. Thanks for everything I’ve learned, thanks for everything that’s shaped me into who I am now, thanks for everything that’s made me smile and thanks for everything that’s made me frown. Thanks for everything that brang laughter and joy to my face and thanks for everything that’s brang frowns and cries to my face. I’ll be forever grateful.
2012, let’s hope for the best.
